Recovery

There are times when we are slow on the uptake and have our position controlled by a quick reacting opponent.

At 0:22 we are exploring how we can recover if our elbow is being pushed up causing us to lose our balance. Using a technique from one of the forms I demonstrate how the recovery action can work.

Right at the end of the video I showed that if the recovery technique worked smoothly the reversing force is strong enough to send my student back in the other direction.
