Singapore Tai Chi Chuan

Mushin aka ZenMindSword began training in Tai Chi Chuan in 1976 beginning with the Wu style. Over a span of nearly four decades he has learned a number of styles and currently specializes in the teaching of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan.

Mushin’s art of Tai Chi Chuan has its roots in the styles of Dong family Tai Chi Chuan, Nip Chee Fei’s version of Yang Chengfu’s Tai Chi Chuan and Wei Shuren’s version of Wang Yongquan’s Yang style from Yang Chienhuo’s Tai Chi Chuan.

Mushin’s transmission of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan places emphasis on it as an art that is beneficial for health, gentle on the joints yet does not compromise on martial power and effectiveness. To attain this objective the key principles that define the art is taught in detail. In addition, each student is taught on a 1-to-1 basis to ensure optimal learning.
